She has six solo releases and one collaborative project with Art Garfunkel and Buddy Mondlock that have all been critically acclaimed and enthusiastically embraced by press and radio. Each release has led to extensive touring throughout the US and UK and appearances on Mountain Stage, Acoustic Cafe, World Cafe, NPR's "All Things Considered," CBS Early Morning and the Today Show to name a few. Maia has toured (opening for and often sitting in) with Bonnie Raitt, Art Garfunkel, Jonatha Brooke, David Wilcox, Patty Griffin and Pat Benatar. “Nothing but the Radio,” the first single from her latest album, The Dash Between the Dates charted in Triple A Radio’s top 10.
"Maia is making some of the most innovative and soulful music around with songs that are head and shoulders above the rest. She has become one of my favorite artists…”
– Bonnie Raitt
"Maia Sharp is a musician's musician- her songs have the harmonic twists and turns that always kill me, her voice gets to my very heart and soul, and she still manages to deliver those classic, fabulous hooks."
